I believe in the power of listening with acceptance and compassion, and, most importantly, without judgement. My goal is to understand you as a unique individual and to work together developing a treatment plan that will help produce positive and meaningful change.
I have over a decade of Emergency Room nursing experience which has strengthened my understanding of the need for empathy and respect of all individuals, regardless of their struggles. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, consultation, and medication management utilizing current standards of care and evidence-based practice. I’ve been trained in the treatment of individuals in all areas of child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, especially anxiety disorders, mood disorders such as depressive and bipolar disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and trauma related disorders.
Seeking out assistance with personal challenges takes courage and vulnerability. You don’t have to do this alone. I strive for a genuine partnership in treatment, encouraging individuals to take an active role in their care, empowering them to better understand their relationships with themselves and others. I hope that if my skills and approach appear to meet your needs, you won’t hesitate to reach out.
